Oreon

Oreon is a network supervision software. It is based upon Nagios which is the most effective Open Source supervision and monitoring engine

I’m began to work with Oreon Team on june 2005.

• Setup : I’ve work to enhance installation scripts (PHP and SHELL)
• Oreon Plugins : With other contributors (Donkishoot, Gollum123), we have :
  • enhanced perl ‘check_graph_*’ plugins
  • created a perl module : ‘oreon.pm’ (and this conf file ‘oreon.conf‘)
  • intregated some Manubulon snmp plugins
• Oreon Graph : some stuff around RRDTool (mostly in 1.2.x)

• Setup : Enhancement of installation scripts
• ID Cards : Some improvements
• Debug mode : I added a debug mode in :
  • Authentification
  • RRDTool graph functions
  • Import Nagios files (in progress)
  • LDAP User Import
  • Inventory / ID Cards
• LDAP :
  • Authentification Backend : Integration of Nathalie Pellarini contribution and enhancement. Bugs corrections : 224 265
  • User Import : Now, we can Oreon contacts from your ldap directory
